I am cutting another Snakewood log. Got some really nice fretboards and head veneers. Here is a picture of the log. 
I have some pieces that have defects-but still a lot of useable material.The bookmatced head veneers would be $50 if perfect. $60 for the whole lot-(12 pcs. total) including shipping-continental US 
Here are some head veneers with sap.

Brad, I got my Snakewood Bridge blank and fretboard a few days ago. They are really nice with great character. How do you find such great wood? I am extremely happy with the wood and you are so easy to do biz with. Thanks |

Thanks, Keith. It's not easy to find nice wood-especialy snakewood. As you can see from the picture of the billet,there are all kinds of defects to cut around,so the yield is low,that's one of the reasons this wood is so expensive. Brad |
